]]> Great place to lift out in Sardinia – sensible prices not like the Costa Smeralda. Mario Mattana can handle paint jobs, grp and wood repairs etc. Very secure place. His boatyard is a 5 minute drive from Arbatax town, which has a ferry service to Civitavecchia on the mainland. He can also arrange a taxi to Cagliari .airport. Great food in the small town and good beach for swimming at Tellis bay, a ten minute walk away. Phone ahead to give him plenty of time to arrange travel lift, otherwise you’ll have to spend €€€ to spend a day and a night in Arbatax marina. Mario loaned me tools to do my own work on the boat, and brought a great stainless-steel fabricator who made us new dinghy davits. Highly recommended.
