On Monday 5/10/2021 in the afternoon we said goodbye to Mexico. We embarked on a 200 mile cruise to our next destination in Belize City to the Cucumber Marina. On Wednesday 12/5 in the morning we entered the marina after a challenging cruise, hard sea, wind of up to 30 side wave contact up to 3 meters and many navigation obstacles due to coral reefs. It was difficult, challenging and wet.

A small and magical marina with few moorings. Protected from westerly winds.
It is recommended to arrive early, otherwise there will be no mooring. The price for a 42-foot boat ranges from 48-52 euros. Water and electricity are included. The walk on the island is magical, the town is exciting and worth exploring.
The nearby island is a gem worth visiting with a small museum documenting birds and the surrounding animals. The marina has clean toilet and shower facilities. A small supermarket on the pier and restaurants on site.

Metropolitan Park Marina – Jacksonville, Florida United States

Metropolitan Park Marina is located on the north bank of the St. John’s River. Downtown Jacksonville is about a mile and a half west.

There are plenty of moorings. There is no need to book in advance except for special events (such as concerts, etc.).

Kastelorizo Greece

The easternmost Greek island. For many who come from Israel, it is an entry point to Greece. Docking pier with beautiful views. Port and customs police are available for check-in. Friendly people. At the entrance Wengali or Yorgos will usually wait and try to pull you to anchor in front of their restaurant. There also the depths are best suited for sailing boats with a sink of up to 2.5 m. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. And beautiful.It is highly recommended to climb all the stairs up to the castle.The views are amazing.

13.6.21 מקופר מרינה, סלובניה למרינת אומג קרואטיה, כניסה למדינת קרואטיה.

14.6.21 בוקר, ניירת מבוצעת, עידכון הלוג-בוק, שחרור חבלים ויוצאים. בדרך הים רגוע וחלק, ארוחת הבוקר בזמן השייט מהווה מרפסת נהדרת על המים .
עיירה קטנה ומתוקה, טיול לעיר העתיקה, למבצר שמוביל לעוד מפרץ יפהפה, עם טיילת לאורכה, מקום מקסים ומומלץ.
15.6.21 לאחר שינה מתוקה אנו מתעוררים לביקור בעיירה, ומשחררים חבלים לעבר רוביני – Rovinj. בדרך, פינוקי בשר בקר, שנכנסים למפרץ, סולין ורסאר – Solin Versar, העוגן מוטל למים, סביב סירות רבות, נראה כמו מפרץ נודיסטים. נהנים מחביתת בצל וסלט וממשיכים אל המרינה, חדשה ומעוצבת ברמה גבוהה.
היופי ברוביני הוא בניין העיר העתיקה בקצה לשונית האדמה, הגגות האדומים, האבנים והמיקום יוצרים קסם.
אנחנו מקבלים זוג אופניים מהמרינה ויוצאים לעיר. שלווה ואווירה מרגיעה, הלילה נכנס לקראת השעה 2100, מאבד את מסלול הזמן, עד שהגוף מאותת שהוא עייף.
16.6.21 לאחר שינה טובה, שחרור חבלים והפלגה למפרץ אובלה סולין ורודה – Uvala Soline Veruda Bay, הסמוך למרינת ורודה, בסוף תעלת המעבר נגלה מפרץ ענק מרושת בקשתות. זה גן העדן לשייט. שחפים על המים, סביב ירוק עד, שירת ציפורים ורגיעה אינסופית.
צוללים אל תוך הערב עם שקיעה זהובה, סביב רק אורות התורן, כמו גחליליות בהירות, מביטים סביב ובהנאה רבה מאחלים לילה טוב.
17.6.21 סוף טבעי, סביב ציוץ הבקר.
עוזבים את הסירה, הכיוון ממאלי לוסין – Mali Losinj…. זיכרון משובח מהדליברי הראשון.

Pedi Bay, Greece

A charming bay near the town of Simi. The bay is protected with a small pastoral village, several taverns and a fishing pier. You can reach it with the boat and anchor or ascend the city of Simi and descend to the other side of the mountain into the charming bay. Docking in a bay is difficult due to a bottom full of vegetation and even when you manage to anchor the anchor it will not necessarily drag with changing wind direction or intensity.

If you have already reached the island of Simi, it is recommended at least one night of mooring at the municipal mooring and a trip to the village itself. Climbing the stairs will bring you to beautiful vantage points, lovely corners and charming taverns with breathtaking views.

At night it is recommended to climb the stairs and reach the tavern of Maria and Georgios. A family home tavern with live performances and a grandmother dancing on the tables. do not miss! (Need to book a place in advance).
