.CANTIERI ARNO MARE is a small shipyard on the River Arno, convenient for Pisa and Pisa airport. The boss is Vittorio, he'll direct you to anchor well out in the river stern to a wooden dock. The place has no facilities like toilets or showers, but Vittorio can find you someone to carry out basic repairs. There's a restaurant next door – I Setti Nanni, and a pizzeria close by. A local bus service will get you to Pisa city center. Rental cars can be found at Pisa airport which is quite close. The river is generally quiet with just a few local fishing boats going up and down, mostly at weekends. We paid €40 /night in 2017 and it was definitely the best arrangement in the area of Pisa.
