Croatia on Liz – Lou, me and my partner for life and sailing, ⛵️ ⛵️ ⛵️ ⛵️ ⛵️
Last stop on land, Solin Canal, disconnects and begins to advance south.
Sailing between dozens of different and similar islands, small and large islands, inhabited and natural and first ♥ ️ Mali Losinj.
The entrance, about 2 miles, feels magical.
A tongue of sea wrapped in vegetation at the end of which lies a small town that looks just like a painting on a postcard. Help with tying was already waiting for us on the pier, we tied up and immediately went down to explore the place.
Wonderful sunset, evening down, after a light meal in the boat and delicious ice cream for dessert, we slowly fall asleep to the sounds of the band from the nearby restaurant.
The cattle are rising, coffee and pastries, nothing is burning🔥,
Going into “everything can wait” mode.
In a nice local supermarket, complete what is left over: bread, milk, eggs and cheese.
Release ropes, and Liz-Lou sets out for the next destination.
A longing-soaked look, hope to see you again, Mali Losinj.
20 miles around the island, expect a bay with such a name that must be special:
Punta Križa – Punta Križa is a language in the south of the island of Kris.
Maintaining a distance from a strip of bathing beach that turns out to be a “man and farm” beach before a meal 🍎🤣
Notice the number of free booths, and choose the one closest to the restaurant.
According to the very vigilant traffic of the cruise ships realize that this is a familiar and sought after place that makes us prepare a meal by boat as we still have a fear of the corona but it seems that the locals are much less apprehensive.
Docking light, looking at the spectacular sunset painted in shades of red 🔥⚜️🔥.
The silence descends and the sounds of nature awaken.
A natural awakening, around quiet and calm.
Motivate, cut ropes and sail north to the island of Kirk, Marina Punat destination.
28 miles, enter slowly and carefully as highlighted in the pilot book from shallow areas.
The air is hot and sticky, there is no point in going out, stay in the boat for a short nap.
Twilight sunset.
We equipped ourselves with a bicycle and a bottle of water to explore the place that turned out to be a long promenade by the sea with cafes, ice cream, restaurants and one huge site with dozens of caravans populated by residents and tourists, a highly developed tourist channel in the islands.
My last ride was at 21 on a regular bike with no moves. In this pair I got 10 moves.
Moves 1 … 2 .. 3 I do not understand what it does until the …. boom 💥
The chain came out of place and got stuck hard at the base of the wheel 🤭
My dear husband, there is nothing that can not fix❣️ What would I do without it?
Only with the help of: a stone, a leaf, a stem he found nearby, arranged and took us back to the riding track. Well done my champion ♥ ️
Tired but satisfied we returned to the boat and said goodbye to another great day with anticipation for the next day.
Have a nice and cool week, take care of yourself, see you in the next post 🤗
